Home and local service brands we've worked with

What our clients say
As the National Digital Specialist for Henley I can say that the team at Foresight are not only great people to work with but they are an important extension of our internal team. Working with them allows us to broaden our horizons with specialist knowledge that wouldn’t be practical for us to have in house.
Tradie marketing challenges
Good tradie marketing starts with how people hire: usually on their phone, usually close to home, and often in a hurry. These are the things we see getting in the way.
Calls that ring out
Plenty of jobs start with a phone call. When your ads keep running while you're on the tools and nobody picks up, you pay for the click and lose the job to the next business on the list.
Getting into the map results
Google ranks local results on relevance, distance and prominence, and more reviews and positive ratings help. There's no way to pay for a better local ranking, so your Business Profile and service areas have to be set up properly.
Earning trust before the first visit
Most people look at examples of a tradie's work before they hire, and many check licences. In NSW, your licence number has to appear in your advertising for electrical, plumbing, gas and air conditioning work, and reviews must be genuine under Australian Consumer Law.
Flat out, then quiet
Air conditioning installers can be booked solid before summer, and government programs like the Cheaper Home Batteries discount can change solar and battery demand overnight. Budgets that never change waste money in busy weeks and go quiet when you need work.
What Foresight solves for tradies
Google Business Profile and local SEO
Your Business Profile is often the first thing a customer sees. We set up your categories, services and service areas properly, then build service and suburb pages on your site so Google can match you to the jobs you want, where you want them.

Search ads built for calls
We run Google Ads with call buttons scheduled to the hours you answer the phone, and count calls as conversions alongside quote forms. Campaigns are split by job type and suburb, so a hot water emergency and a switchboard upgrade each get the right budget.

A steady flow of genuine reviews
We help you ask every customer for a review after the job, and reply to the reviews you get. Asking everyone keeps you on the right side of the ACCC's rules and builds the kind of profile people trust.

Quote pages that win the job
We build landing pages for each service with photos of your work, your licence details, your service area and a short quote form, so people can see you're the real deal and get in touch in a couple of taps.

Google Ads for tradies
Google Ads puts your trade business at the top of the page the moment someone searches for the job you do. For most tradies it's the fastest way to make the phone ring, and it's easy to waste money on when the account is set up loosely.
Here's how we set up Google Ads for tradies:
- Campaigns by job type. Emergency work, quotes and maintenance each get their own campaigns, keywords and budget, so a burst pipe at 10pm and a bathroom renovation quote are bid on differently.
- Your service area only. We target the suburbs you actually travel to and exclude the rest, so you stop paying for clicks from people two hours away.
- Negative keywords from day one. Searches for jobs, apprenticeships, DIY guides and free advice are blocked, so your budget goes on people who want to hire.
- Call tracking. Calls from your ads and website count as leads, with call length, so you can see which campaigns bring in real jobs.
- Ad schedules that match your hours. Call ads run when someone can answer, and quote forms pick up the rest.
In the first few months we review search terms every week, add negatives and move budget to the jobs and suburbs that win you work. You get a plain monthly report: calls, quote requests, cost per lead and what we changed.
SEO for tradies
SEO is the long game for trade businesses. It takes a few months to build, and once your website ranks for the jobs you do in the suburbs you work in, it brings in leads without paying for every click.
Local SEO for tradies comes down to three things:
- Your Google Business Profile. The right primary category, every service you offer, accurate hours, a service area that matches where you travel, regular photos of finished jobs and a steady flow of reviews.
- Service and suburb pages. A page for each main service, written in plain language with prices or price ranges where you can, your licence details, photos and answers to common questions. Then pages for the key suburbs you serve, each showing real local work.
- Local trust signals. The same business details across every directory, links from local suppliers, trade associations and community groups, and reviews that mention the job and the suburb.
We also fix the technical basics that hold trade websites back: slow mobile pages, missing page titles and phone numbers that only appear inside an image.
A website that wins the job
Your website is where a customer decides whether to call you or the next tradie on the list. We build and improve tradie websites around one goal: more calls and quote requests.
Tap to call on every page
A call button that stays in view on mobile, with your number in plain text so Google and customers can both read it.
Photos of your own work
Real jobs, your van and your team. Stock photos make people wonder whether you're the real business.
Licence, insurance and guarantees
Your licence number, insurance cover and workmanship guarantee where people can see them, and in your ads wherever the law requires it.
A short quote form
Name, phone, suburb, the job and an optional photo. Every extra field costs you leads.
Lead generation for trade businesses
Google Ads, SEO and your Business Profile do most of the work for most trades. Here's how we think about each lead source and where it fits.
Search ads
Quick to start and easy to scale up or down. Best for urgent work and high value jobs where a lead is worth paying for.
Google Business Profile
Free to run and often the first thing people see. Reviews, photos and accurate services bring in more calls from the map results.
SEO
Slower to build and great value once it ranks. Best for the services you want more of over the years ahead.
Meta ads
Useful for jobs people plan ahead, like solar, batteries, landscaping and renovations, and for showing off finished work in your area.
Lead marketplaces
Shared lead sites can fill a quiet week. Those leads often go to several businesses, so we track them alongside your own channels and compare the cost per job won.
Repeat and referral work
Past customers are your cheapest leads. A follow-up text after the job and a reminder when a service is due keep you front of mind.
Turning leads into booked jobs
A lead is only worth something when it becomes a job, and the quickest reply often wins it. We help you set up missed call text backs, instant replies to quote forms and one simple place to see every new lead, even from the tools.
We track each lead from the first click to the quote and the job, so you can see your cost per job won by trade, service and suburb. That tells us where to put next month's budget, and it keeps your lead generation focused on the work that makes you money.
Who AI recommends right now
Every month we ask ChatGPT what one type of buyer would ask. This one is a homeowner looking for a plumber in Melbourne. It isn't your exact question, so run our free check to see your own. Is your business on the list?

Questions
Which trades do you work with?
Electricians, plumbers, air conditioning and HVAC, solar and battery installers, landscapers, painters and other trades where work comes from local search and the phone. We bring the same lead tracking we use for home builders to calls and quote requests.
How much should I spend?
It depends on your service area and what a job is worth to you. A blocked drain and a solar and battery install are very different numbers, so we work back from your average job value and how many quotes you win to set what a lead is worth paying for.
How quickly will the phone ring?
Search ads with a call button can bring calls within days of going live. Local SEO and reviews take a few months to build, and they keep bringing work in when you pause the ads.
Do I need a new website to run Google Ads?
Not always. If your website loads quickly on a phone, shows your services, service area, licence details and photos of your work, and has a clear call button and quote form, we can run ads to it straight away. If it's missing those, we build landing pages for your main services first, so you don't pay for clicks that go nowhere.
Should I use lead marketplaces as well as my own ads?
They can help fill gaps, especially when you're starting out. Because those leads are often shared with other trade businesses, we compare the cost per job won from each source every month and move spend toward the channels that bring you the work you want.
